5041 - Khmer Stone Nandin

Khmer stone fragment of Shiva on his mount Nandin, of gray sandstone. Dramatic profile. According to provenance information the piece originated in Phanom Rung, now in Thailand but part of the Khmer Empire during the 10th to 13th century.

Measurements: H 15 1/2", L 22". Teak base 3 1/4" x 16 1/2" x 10".

Provenance: Private Collection.
